Rising Down

Inspired by 10 Chambers' GTFO,  Rising Down is a highly complex horror survival TTRPG about groups of people forcefully sent into a facility to perform various missions and attempt to get back alive.

Rising Down requires at minimum 2 players - one to run the game in the role of a GM, and at least 1 to be a player. Rising Down supports 5 people at most, one GM and four players.

As a player, you will play one of four Roles - the confident Forerunner, the flashy Stylist, the intelligent Journeyman, and the deadly Specialist. Each role comes with a unique kit of weapons, tools, and unique perks that make them a valuable asset to the team.

Unlike most games, where you start weak and get strong, Rising Down flips this concept on its head, where you are strongest at the start of a mission, but become weaker as you go. Manage Paranoia, Panic, Mental Trauma, Pain, and more and work as a team to accomplish your goal of survival.

Rising Down is a far more complicated game than any description could say, coming in at over 80 pages with companion Google Sheets to be used for map creation as well as a character sheet for the unique mechanics to be kept track of, not to mention a variety of systems like hacking, mental and physical states, alertness levels, and more which makes each mission a lengthy experience.

Ultimately, this is a game about telling a dark story where the players must persevere against overwhelming odds to survive, working together as a team to  do so, and making sacrifices for the betterment of your teammates.
